Appointment of new Chief Operating Officer

27th Feb 2018 | By h4u-admin

Statement from Trevor Page, Chief Executive of the Leicester Services Partnership:

The Leicester Services Partnership Ltd is announcing the retirement of the Director of Operations, Clive Williams at the end of June.  Clive joined the University in September 1979 and has given over 38 years of dedicated and exceptional service to the catering team of the University (and now the new Partnership).

As a result of Clive’s imminent retirement, and a subsequent reorganisation,  I am delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Rob Bean as the Chief Operating Officer of the Partnership with immediate effect.

Rob has been the Executive Head Chef within the University since 2011, and spent the previous 31 years as a chef working in hotels, restaurants and more recently in multi-site event catering.

The new role of Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the catering, retail and bars operations of the Partnership, to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services, and provide outstanding leadership to the team.  This new post will have strategic responsibility for both the supply and production of food and beverages, as well as the customer experience throughout the University.

We are all very excited about this appointment and we wish Rob all the best in his new role as we develop exciting new outlets, products and services for the whole University Community.
